Barrens Tour & Sketching Session For Children Ages 10 to 18.
June 6, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join local naturalist Julie Covey and local artist Tracey Jean for a walk on the trail at the Chaumont Barrens to look for native flora and fauna in the unique alvar environment. Participants will each receive a journal for sketching stops along the trail. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes – preferably hiking boots, bring binoculars, a camera and water. We will meet at the Chaumont Barrens – 29924 Van Alstyne Rd, Chaumont. Parents are asked to accompany children under the age of 13. June 6th at 6:30pm. Rain date June 8th at 6:30 pm.
